Hi I'm new in this platform and I'm trying to install DNN in my computer, but  my database SQL server 2008 is already installed, when  I try to install DNN tells  me that the server of database not  installed  and I can't  continue because tells me that can't connect with the server.

I hope they can help me.

Raquel.

Lots of people on these forums have vouched for the link Sebastion posted. It does all the work of installing DNN for you.

If you wish to install it on your own, you will need to check your credentials for SQL Server. Launch SSMS and try to log in. If you can log in, supply those credentials when installing DNN. Make sure you select "custom" (or something similar) for the database part when installing.
