this sounds strange, is it possible they created a 2nd IIS website pointing to same directory instead of adding the binding to the same IIS website?

No, only me created the bridge from my webhosting, by a subdomain pointing to myportal/mychild folder.

I detected something strange too : i'm using binary dll of course but i can use code behind embbed into aspx to debug, so i copied Default.aspx (own file created for my subdomain) to paste it to Test.aspx and i changed content :

- If i'm writing only that inside  OnInit event : "Response.Write("HellowWord!");", the content is visible for both URLs
- If i'm adding "System.Globalization.CultureInfo pageLocale = null;", the content continue to be visible for both URLs
- If i'm replacing the last line by "CultureInfo pageLocale = null;" as Default.aspx is written, i have got the error for mychild.myportal.com/test.aspx, not for myportal.com/mychild/test.aspx...

So, i suspect a namespace pb... Idea please ?

it looks like there is an issue as soon as you are using DNN code. Please make sure, you removed the previous child alias.

Sebastian, i don't understand "make sure you removed the previous child alias" :

what do you recommand in dnn subsite alias zone if i created, from my webhosting, the line : Subdomain = mychild.myportal.com ==> Folder target = www/mychild ?

sorry, if you are having a parent portal myportal.com, you may have another portal with alias mychild.myportal.com, both need to be bound to the same IIS website.
if you used myportal.com/mychild previously, you might need to adjust some relative file links within content.

Cheers from Germany,
Sebastian Leupold
