Hello. I have problems localizing the home page of a site. Here's what I did:

 1. I enabled localized content in Admin -> Languages.

2. I activated the second language. I was told to do it in this order so that the default culture is set to the first language.

3. I went to the page settings of the home page, and tried clicking Add missing languages, at which point the response was 500 error. At first I thought some module on the page might be causing this, so I deleted every module from the home page except HTML modules. No dice.

I tried other pages, localized versions were created without problems. Creating localized pages in one batch is not an option, since there are 73 pages, and the time it takes exceeds the 90 seconds script limit on the server, and hosting cannot modify that. If anyone encountered this before or knows the solution please post.

 Cheers!
