Hi,

I usually use Active Directory Authentication so the default authentication is disabled. But I have to make some changes to a module and am trying to enable the Default authentication. I go into Admin->Extensions. Edit Default Authentication, and check off IsEnabled. The page reloads, I log out and the “standard” option is not there. It still only shows the Active Directory login.

If I look at dbo.Authentication the DNN row shows IsEnabled = 0 Editing this manually and changing it to 1 does not fix this either.

Has anyone had this issue before? Is there some way I can enable the default Authentication?

Thanks,

Chris

if you modify values in the database, you need to restart the application, as settings are cached.
