Hey fellow DotNetNukers,

I am pleased to announce TRTControlPanel 1.5.0.0 for DotNetNuke.

What's different you ask? Well, besides the already great features like limiting specific modules to be added only by given roles. Changing what can be used, like Page Delete, the wizard & the ability to control feature use by roles. The current version fix's a bug and adds a couple new options.

1) Fixed a bug that items could show for a role on a post back that was not shown previously.

2) Enhancement to Role Permissions when you can now also remove the administrator role from using a feature in this mode.

3) Personalization of Control Panel Dropdown State. By clicking the arrow icon your current settings will be retained with your user profile. So, the next time you log in you can pick up right where you left off editing! Just want to make a quick edit? Click the bar anywhere besides the arrow icon to drop it down or up from edit mode. Quick edit mode does not store the current drop down state.

4) Need to limit Admin menu item usage? Now you can! Don't want you Admins using features like Authentication? Change it. As host you can set what Admin menu items are available. This does not actually move the menu items, but makes a permission change so only SuperUsers can view & use disabled items. This is to keep the menu system intact and ready for new upgrades of DotNetNuke. Thanks Leif Leiner for suggesting this be added.

Wow, what's all this going to cost me you ask? Best of all nothing! You can download the PA & Source on my site. This was compiled against DotNetNuke 3.2.2 but works with 3.3.x & 4x as well.

Again Thanks to the DotNetNuke Core Team & Community for making all this a reality!

Cheers,

Dave
