I have a DNN7.3.2 installation which I am running as an intranet. On it have it a number of Social Groups which have been working superby for the best part of 18 months. Until recently I got a call from one of my users saying that the member list for their group was showing all the staff when it was only a group for 5 staff. This seems to be a bug that is presented itself on all groups on my DNN installation with 15 child portals.

On searching the web for help I all noticed one similar entry on stakeoverflow.  http://stackoverflow.com/questions/24538666/dnn-social-groups-filtering

The only workout I found was to create one social group per user role group so that the members directory module is edited on the group to filter by a give groupID. This used to work fine with a many groups being add to the same group module. Can this be resolved.

I suggest you log it to support.dnnsoftware.com with as much detail as possible so it can be reviewed by QA and scheduled to be fixed.

a social Group is technically the same as a security role - a record in Roles table, just with a different flag.
What do you mean by a role per Group?
