When a person is registered and logged in, their picture, messages, notifications and name show up and throw the website display out of whack. Is there a way to turn off everything but their name so it doesn't do that? If not, is there a way to make DNN display that info somewhere else other than where the login link is at?

Thanks

Do you mean on their profile page? Or where are you talking about?

In any case - you can control the appearance of that stuff by editing the relevant templates. If you mean on the "My-Profile" page, then go into the module's settings and edit the template accordingly. If you mean in the header bar or something, then it's probably from the skin objects that create the login/register links. Those can be customized many ways with both settings on the object and CSS.

It shows up on my home page in the header where I have the log-in link and every other page in the header. I have the structure like this. I've removed runat server because this forum will strip the code if I don't.

<ul class="pull-right registerLogin">

                <li><dnn:USER ID="dnnUser" class="inline"  LegacyMode="false" /></li>

                <li><dnn:LOGIN ID="dnnLogin" class="inline" LegacyMode="true" /></li>

  </ul>

You can try turning on legacy mode - but, this can be worked out with CSS probably more easily.

If we can only see it after logging in, we'd need an account or something to see it and help on that specifically.

Thanks. Changing legacy to true solved the issue. Their name stays where the register link was and everything else goes away.
