I have just installed DNN 7.2.2 and using the default template Gravity.

I can't see where to edit the footer (it doesn't appear to be on the actual skins).

I've found the skins here: /Portals/_default/Skins/Gravity/

but can't find how to edit the content at the bottom, e.g. Copyright, terms and Privacy

thanks

Do you want to edit the content of the modules mentioned, or their appearance/location on the skin?

The Terms and Privacy contents are available using the Language Editor.

You can also supply your own Terms and Privacy pages by creating pages with those names.

(Generally, you shouldn't edit DNN components, even skin files. They can be replaced when you upgrade DNN. Instead, copy the skin directory and paste if back with a new name, e.g. Gravity-modified. Then, use Gravity-modified as the site skin.)

To change the copyright content, under the admin menu, go to site settings->basic settings tab ->copyright field.

There are two xml files in the admin/skins folder that can be changed to over-ride the default text for privacy and terms (privacy.xml and terms. xml) Not sure how to change the default. - I cannot find anything in the language editor that allows one to do that..

thanks,
I was thinking of creating our own footer links (e.g. like disclaimer and accessibility etc) and linking to our custom links instead.

Creating a copy of a skin makes sense. However, I don't know if the actual hyper links for terms & Privacy are located on the skin or inside a footer?

As for the Language Editor... I believe this used to be inside Admin >> Languages (and then a list of Resource files would appear).
However, in 7.2.2. when I click on Admin >> Languages - all I can do is install an actual language pack. There is no list of files here for modification.

RE: 2 xml files in Admin/Skins, I don't see any files here just a few skins and containers.
