When do you get this error, because I went to the site and did not get any errors.  Is it only when you try to login?

Also, are any of the under the DNN site set as applications (VD).  If so, which ones?

I take away <clear/> then I open the web at server http://localhost/ then  I got the error. Then I add the <clear/> back to let other user view the site.

I run the web server at home link to intranet via ADSL connection, just to public DNN in Thai for Thai people.  If I enter Www.noklek.com at web browser (loop back or from my company) the web.config will prevent me see the detail error.

My server is simple PC with WindowXP and I just the new baby for internet and computer system. But I learn a lot from internet and I keep learning. I do hope that I can share what I learn into Thai the other Thai people which is not good in English can learn too. Like DNN which is have a very good potential.

Noklek is mean small bird in Thai.

1) Go into the IIS manager and click on the DNN direcotry.  If the directory has a normal file folde image then is it not setup as an application.  Any directory that does not have a normal file folder image is setup as an application.  You can verify this by right clicking on the directory and choosing properties.  Under the Applications Tab if there is a button that says "Remove Application" then the directory is setup as an application. If there is a button that says "Add Application" then the directory is not setup as an application.  I need to know if any of the direcotories under the DNN directory are setup as applications.

2) Are you sure there is not a web.config directory located in the root directory for the default web site?  The error you are getting ususally is becuase there is another web.config that is being loaded before the one that is causing the error.

1.   The DotNetNuke directory under IIS is the application and there is no application folder under DotNetNuke folder. I search into second and third level below DotnetNuke and found none of them is the application folder.
2.   And I search for web.config file by "Dir  web.config /s" under directory Inetpub and I found only one web.config file under DotNetNuke directory.

This website use to be OK for 6 months before it can not login few days ago.
I don't do any upgrade and major change in DNN too.
I can not post the picture as I don't have the permission to upload the picture then I can show you the picture.

Thank you very much.
Best regards,
Jeeradate K.
