The "always on top" dnnsoftware.com menu is a problem on mobile devices. I am using landscape mode on my phone and the fat menu takes a third of the screen. A mobile screen real estate is very valuable and the menu is just annoying and has absolutely zero value. Everyone knows where the menu is so what's the point of fixing it on the screen!? It doesn't follow web usability standards. I always disliked fixed web page elements and on the mobile devices, they are horrid. Easy access to an option that will used 1% of the viewing time is not useful. Think of the 99% of the time when the user doesn't need it.

AFAIK this is "by design" ;)
Seriously, the skin just checks horizontal resolution and not vertical size, resulting in menu covering too much space.
I am not sure, DNN Corp. is going to fix it.

Cheers from Germany,

They probably won't fix it if very few people complain about it. Maybe it's just me till now. Anyway, it wasn't a good design choice to begin with. The web usability standard is for the whole page to scroll. Personally I never liked fixed menus.
