We are using the RadEditor and this is the first html change since going to 7.3.3.  I made a simple change to an href in HTML mode not design mode, previewed it (looked correct and pointed to the new location) and saved it.  I then reloaded the page, but now the href is still pointing to the old link.  I went back into the editor and the change is there.  I cleared the cache and even restarted IIS, but the change does not show up outside of the HTML editor.  I looked into the HtmlText table and can see my revision which includes the corrected link and it is approved.

What's even more weird is that I applied the same html module change to the Test version of the site (running on a separate test server) and everything worked perfectly.  The only difference is the production server is running on Server 2008 X64 and the set is running on server 2012 R2.  In fact, the production site was copied from the test site and the DNN database is a copy of the test sight - everything else is identical.

Any idea what might be going on?

did you enable output caching for the module?

When I go into edit settings for the module there are Cache Settings on the Page Settings tab. Is this what you are referring to? The Output Cache provider is set to File.

Is there a different setting I should be looking at?

I had a second topic posted where I could not load Host Settings. The issue had to do with encrypting portions of web.config, specifically the machineKey. Come to find out that once I decrypted the key this problem also resolved itself!

Does this have anything to do with IIS 8+ and Server 2012 or SQL2012, because we have had the EXACT SAME ISSUE with out HTML editor but only in DNN 6.2.9 where all we did was migrate from a 2008 server running SQL2008R2?

I posted the issue in another Thread but just saw this thread which describes our issue exactly.
I'm not clear if there is any web.config encryption going on. Could someone clear up what I might try?
