Hi all,

 I have a DNN website migrated recently. Everything works fine and but the home page shows the "ErrorPage". I am inserting the image below.

My  screen grab is bit large; sorry for that. There are no further errors in logs anywhere. When I checked "Inspect element' in FF browser, I get the following.

===========================

<form id="Form" action="ErrorPage.aspx?status=500&error=Violation+of+UNIQUE+KEY+constraint+%27IX_PortalAlias%27.+Cannot+insert+duplicate+key+in+object+%27dbo.PortalAlias%27.%0d%0aThe+statement+has+been+terminated." method="post">

===========================

 I tried changing the priority of the default page from web server, but it won't reflect and still show this "error_page" instead.

 Please help me out to load the website with the required "default.aspx" or to avoid loading the 'errorpage".

that looks to be a pretty old site (based on the images) - what version did you migrate from and what version to? As to the issue, I suggest checked the PortalAlias table and ensuring there are no odd/unwanted urls in there (if you remove any, please ensure you recycle the website so it picks up the new data i.e open the web.config, add a space, save it, remove the space and save it will force an application recycle)

Thank you for your response.

We only migrated across servers and not across version. I know this is an old version but as long as application works, I don't mind upgrading.

 Regarding the issue, I fetched the "PortalAlias" table but unable to see any suspicious URLs. Please find the screenshot taken from myLittleadmin

Could you please tell me which one needed to remove or should I look into any other tables..

Please advise. Thanks in advance.

Leo

please check content of portalAlias table, do not modify table structure.

Hi Sebastian,

Could you please look into my second response. It includes the screenshot taken from myLittleadmin with the required " PortalAlias" table. I haven't changed the table structure or else so far. Could you please look into my "portalAlias" table contents and let me know what changes necessary. Let me know if any other details required.

 Thanks in advance,

Leo
