Hi,

I have recently started using dotnetnuke and I have searched through the forums but can not find anyone else having similar issue but it is to do with email notification when adding security roles to a current user. I receive notification whether or not i have the Send Notification? checked or not.

Details:

Currently when I go to  Edit User Accounts and Manage Roles for this User section I have the ability to add additional roles for each user.

I select the Security Role that I wish to add and then select Add Role and leave Send Notification? checked and the user is sent an email. However the problem arises when I uncheck the Send Notification? checkbox but the user still receives an email every security role change that i make.

Any advice would be appreciated?

I am currently running 4.3.2 on windows 2003 Web Edition SP1 server with IIS 6.0 accessing a SQL 2000 server database running on a Windows 2003 SP1 Enterprise.

thanks in advance

Anthony

I actually have the same issue with DNN 4.3.1 (RC) on Windows 2000 SP4 and was hoping that perhaps this was fixed in DNN 4.3.2 but I gues not?  Any insight would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Rhett
