Hi all,

Im showing a pop from a custom module I created, but I want to pass a value to the popup.
This is the code i'm currently using to do so:

dnnModal.show("Paymentmatchform?popUp=true",false,250,450,false);

I have an id in a variable in the same function, and I need to have it available in the popup form.
I am very new to DNN, so if there is a different better way to do it im also open to that.

Thnx in advance

that should be fine (you can see an example with a fullyqualified path at http://www.dnnsoftware.com/community-blog/cid/138736/using-dnnmodalshow-in-your-modules-and-content). However typically I'd suggest you use the UrlUtils.PopupUrl method to generate it and attach it to a clickable item e.g. http://www.mindfiresolutions.com/Working-with-jquery-popup-in-dotnetnuke-6-modules-1687.php

Note: if it's a simple alert or confirmation you're usually better off using one of the plugins http://www.dnnsoftware.com/wiki/page/reusable-dotnetnuke-jquery-plugins
