I am still experiencing the issues with the following error when trying to manage my forum in any way.

A critical error has occurred.
Object reference not set to an instance of an object.

At this time I can not setup a forum nor manager a forum or anything other then configuration, that is the only screen that I have access to.  I am sorry if I am posting this in the wrong area, but I am not finding anything else that will help.  This happens to my signed in as host when trying to make any forums.

First, this is not going to go away until you can get a new release.  I have been very very busy so I have kept pushing release off.  Another thing, you shouldn't be doing anything as host aside from installing the module or checking error logs.  That being said, I to have worked w/ it as host and have no more issues as host than I do as admin.

Then if there is no known time frame for the new release you are sure there is no fix for this error?  Basically are you saying there is no way to fix this issue?  If so then this would leave those of us with money to spend for paid forum modules such as activeforum are left without a working forum module.  I have seen working forums on several DNN sites so far besides dotnetnuke.com.  This must mean that some one out there has figured out how to get around that error, if so I just want to know the fix so I can get a active forum on my site.  Sorry for all of the hassle but honestly without a active forum or blog your site can not truly allow your visitors to express themselves.

The forums are going on dnn.com tonight.  I will ask for them to be released to the public tonight as well.  I will announce it, as long as I can speak w/ one of two people, the forums will be out tomorrow at the latest.
