I am totally new to DNN, but I've been asked to change the URL to some of the links in the main navigation and footer on all pages.  I do not know where to do this at within this version of DNN 04.08.04.  All of the links will point to pages outside of the DNN website.  I was thinking it might be located within a Skin, but I have no idea how to access a skins html and if I should even attempt to change these hyperlinks within, for fear of messing something up.  What would be the easiest way to do this? in this seemly older version of DNN?  Thanks.

Normally the skin is located in

/Portals/_Default/"Skinname"/***.ascx OR or

/Portals/"portalfolder"/"Skinname"/***.ascx

So you have to look for .ascx files

If you cannot find them;

Check in the browsers page source where Skin.css is located, that's the skin folder.

Side note: Please tell the site owner he should really upgrade to a higher version of DNN, there are some serious security issues in these older DNN4 versions.
