Hi, I'm a new user, and i have q question regarding the web hosting.
I made my own portal with my own modules and and i would like
to host it as it is in the web. I use one database for the DNN(databese.mdf  and DIAR.mdf )and one for my own modules( Should I add my tables and stored procedures to the DNN database?). My provider give me following data:
MSSQL SERVER: db1.xyzxyz.de
MSSQL Databese: mssql99999
MSSQL USer name: BLABLA1
Password
Port:

What do i have to do so that i can ftp my file to the provider and be shure that the portal run?
Thank very much

Well, first off, I don't think it is recommended that you try and run different parts of DNN in different databases.  All stored tables and stored procedures are supposed to reside in the DNN database.  The preferred way to add tables and stored procedures for a DNN module is by packaging all the code and database scripts that create the stored procedures into a DNN module install file (private assembly).  This is a zip file like the ones that you can download for the various core sub projects.  Instructions for how to do this should be in the DNN core Docs distribution.  There should be a document called 'DotNetNuke Module Developers Guide' that will explain how to do this.

It looks like you are using a shared hosting account.  You will likely not be able to just copy your current database files to the provider and use them as your database.  You will probably have to import your current database into the database the hosting provider gives you.
