HI folks

I'd like to build a modified quote form. It's essentially a basic form (name, address, city state zip, phone, email), but I'd like to be able to have the ability to do an attachment. SOme of these files could be pretty big (~50mb). But once the form is submitted, I'd like to be able to have it email sales@soandso.com

I don't want to re-invent the wheel. But i'm not really sure how to get started with this with DNN 7.x

Would someone mind offering up ideas on how I could do this?

I see others use the Feedback MOdule, but I don't see how I can have a field for an attachment.

Hi John,

You can use Form and List to accomplish this.

You create the fields that you need on your form, set up so that it sends an email to you and there is also an option to allow the viewer to attach attachments as well.

The attachments are not included on the email but stored on the server for you retrieval.

You'll have to read up on how to use an attachment field on the module though.

Hope this helps,

Regards,

Geoff
