HI all

(DNN version 6.0, site data is a backup site)

I am so new here, I been setup DNN site example.com:8080 on production IIS for testing, then  i remove example.com:8080, Add new production DNN site example.com:80.

 The Problem is wheneve i click  example.com pages went into  example.com:8080

 i did reboot the server, clear page cache and browser cache..

no ideas what is going on, please help

you need to modify domain name registration in database table PortalAlias (or in Admin > Site Settings menu item, if you are having access to the site).
Windows Hosting prefers using Host Headers over Ports, i.e. once you included the domain name in your name server (or local hosts file for development), you bind it to your IIS website and may run multiple domains on the same IP address without using different ports.

You are right. I got all setup on alias.  Do I need to put the port as well?

no, without specifying a port, default port 80 will be used
