Hello,

I would like the messaging module to send emails to users showing the name of WHO sent them a message (not just a photo).

I've tried the following tokens. [User:DisplayName], [DISPLAYNAME], and  [AS:SENDER:DISPLAYNAME]

I can live with just showing WHO sent the message.

It'd be nice to have a token to say who it's to, too..

In languages, I tried to modify  EMAIL_MESSAGING_DISPATCH_ITEM.Text but the tokens do not get replaced.

Any suggestions?

Thanks!

I am not aware of token "AS" being supported anywhere in the core Framework,.

Thanks Sebastian.

I got that token from here: http://www.activemodules.com/activesocial/kb/existing-email-template-tokens/ realizing it was not necessarily part of the core.

However, I tried the other tokens listed below as well... such as [User:DisplayName] without those getting replaced in the emails.  (They are not replaced at all... just come as text "[User:DisplayName]"

I fear, that the Messaging module is for unkown (stupid) reasons not using core TokenReplace Feature but just doing a number of replaces for the few items, it is supporting internally. Please log this as a bug at Support.dnnsoftware.com, thanks.
