Hi,

I have a language selector with 2 languages on my site and whenever I switch from English to French, the page refreshes but it stays on the English side and the language selector displays English as a selection.

I am using a skin and I added this line at the top of my page:

<%@ Register TagPrefix="dnn" TagName="LANGUAGE" Src="~/Admin/Skins/Language.ascx" %>

...and then I added the language dropdown list in my page as follows:

<dnn:LANGUAGE runat="server" ID="dnnLANGUAGE" ShowMenu="True" ShowLinks="False"  />

I have set up the languages through the Admin correctly and it works if I change the url from /en-US to /fr-CA manually but the language selector doesn't change it automatically. Anyone have any clues as to why this isn't working?

I have set up my DNN site through Windows Azure using Community edition 7.3.2.

Thanks

please clear local browser Cache and Cookies, language used to be stored in a Cookie, there might be a broken old one.

Did that but it still doesn't work. It's strange...it works fine if I change from a dropdown list to the flags:

<dnn:LANGUAGE runat="server" ID="dnnLANGUAGE" ShowMenu="False" ShowLinks="True"  />

...but if I use a dropdown list, it doesn't retain the value on postback.

please try Default Skin on a page, whether it has same issue.

When I try a default DNN skin, it has the flags and it works fine. Either has something to do with the dropdown list or my skin...although the flags work with my skin.
