I am testing an upgrade to 7.4.0

I had a site that was using CKEditor on 7.3.4. I want to upgrade to 7.4.0 and start using the default DNN html provider.  I upgraded, changed HTML to DNN Rad Editor, uninstalled CKEditor.  Left it with default configuration.

As an admin, when I go to image manager to insert something, there is nothing in the list.  No file tree, no folders, files anything.  This is definitely not the case.  It is set to [portal root]

Additionally if I create a new configuration for a different role, and assign something like [user root] it works fine for them.  Just not admins or host account.  I would really appreciate if anyone could shed some light on this.  I see some junk in chrome console when on the html editor page but nothing that provides any information as to why this is happening.

And I just read that Rad Editor is no more and you are switching to CKEditor.  I've been using CKEditor for a while now. There are some really nice features but I also feel that there are some pretty decent issues with this.

Is DNN reworking CKEditor into their own release or are they adopting what is currently available?  Will our customizations and configurations come over or will it essentially be a different editor?  Any ideas?

Engage did some work on the provider, but I don't know, whether they support all upgrade scenarios atm.
You may download and check current Version of the Project from dnn-connect repository on github.
