Hi,

I'm being unable to delete any portals from the site management control panel.  Apparently this issue is in JIRA: https://dnntracker.atlassian.net/browse/DNN-5737

Is there a workaround that can be used in the meantime to delete the portals?

Please let me know as my client created about 10 portals that are clogging up my db space.

Thanks,

Prashant

you may download TurboSQL scripts from https://dnnscript.codeplex.com.
In Turbodnn.sql file, you may locate "DeletePortal" stored procedure, you may copy drop and create for this procedure and run it in Host > SQL.

Thanks Sebastian,  I downloaded the TurboSQL scripts  Thanks.

i'm a bit of a beginner at this part though and am afraid i'll do something wrong.  When I search the turboDNN740.sql for "delete" there are over 400 instances of it.  How do I pick the right one?

Please let me know,

Prashant

you need to search for "DeletePortalInfo", there should be an "IF.... DROP Procedure" and a CREATE Procedure. you'll need both to replace existing version of the sproc.

Hi Sebastian,

Thanks for the pointer. I ran the 2 sqls from the host --> SQL and they were executed successfully.

I got back to Host --> Site settings, I still don't see a delete icon next to the portals.
Please let me know what else I can do here?

Thank you so much for your help,
Prashant
