Hi all,

We are trying to display the data from our database onto the pages of DNN. DNN is set to UTF-8, while in our database, we are using latin1 charset.

Is there a way for us to display the data correctly? Currently, certain characters are not displaying correctly on the page.

Regards,
Cinto

despite the collation used in the database. DNN is using Unicode datatypes (nvarchar and sometimes still ntext) to store text in the database, i.e. if you are experiencing Encoding issues, it is most likely that the Input page doesn't use proper character page.

Hi Sebastian,

We are displaying content from MySQL database, which is using latin1 charset. How can we display the content correctly with that?

Cinto

Hi Sebastian,

Unfortunately the solution still does not fix our issue.

Do you have other solutions?

Regards,
Cinto
