Hello all.

As we have been trying to add a "US - localized" version of our home page, we've run into some repeated issues, particularly that localization appears to be applying intermittently.

We've used "Remote terminal" to access one of our "US" machines to view localized pages and what we've noticed is that although the browser seen through 'remote terminal' shows the localized page correctly, we don't see the localized content on our 'test' browser, which is Chrome, with the language settings set to "English (United States)" - with this method, we see the 'UK' page content. It's as if browser language detection is not working for us.

Under our "Admin/Languages" page, we have 'Localized Content' enabled, with the 'System Default' showing as 'English (United States)'. The 'Default site language' is 'English (United Kingdom). We also have "Enable browser language detection" checked on the "Settings" tab.

We've tried various methods of adding localization to pages ('Admin/Page Management', 'Admin/Languages: Content Management (tab)' and 'Page Localization: Make page translatable') but have noticed issues. For example: the 'eye' icon to 'view page' and 'cog' icon to access the page settings redirects to the homepage. We also cannot navigate directly to the localized page using the URL: this also redirects.

Could anyone offer advice on 'best practices' when applying localization, or offer opinions on anything we may have missed out? Your help would be very much appreciated.

Thanks for taking the time to read this.

If you want en-US to show up, it Needs to be enabled for this Website, otherwise e-US will be redirected to e-GB.
Besides, each page needs to be marked as translated to show up in en-US and en-GB
