Hi, I'm trying to find out how to grant a user write access to a specific folder in the File Manager. I set the user's permissions on the folder itself (while I was logged in as Host), but the user cannot access the File Manager, and I don't want to make her an Admin. How do I allow non-Administrators to access the File Manager?

 Thanks

Tom

you may place Digital Assets Management module on a public page and grant access for it to the Group.
Be careful, I recently noticed an issue in the stored procedure retrieving granted folders, which might result in unauthorised access (though I haven't checked, whether it is used in DAM or in Folder control).

Thanks. I am now using Digital Asset Manger to provide a File Manager for users.

A general question: Do I need to make users Admistrators if I want them to be able to upload files or create folders?

Thanks

Tom

Tom,
in Admin > File Management, an admin might right click a folder node and grant browse/upload/edit permission as necessary to any role or user.
