Hello all,

Just started in DNN a couple weeks ago and I've had some success putting up these test sites up but then everything all of a sudden went horribly wrong. I had a site up Friday that ran and worked just as it should. Then I tried to start a project in VS 2013 and it caused the site to crash and I couldn't recover. I figured I would just make a new blank template and start over... I don't know what I'm doing wrong now that I was doing right before but this is what I get the past 10 tries:

None of the links work or do anything nor will any of the images load... I'm lost as what to try next. I've played with sharing the folders, editing permissions, add the project as an application, ect. I've tried looking for a fix for this and although I've found some with similar problems none of them helped me. I'm using the most up to date version of DNN on IIS Manager with SQL Server Management Studio.

Thanks.

Figured it out... again. The folder has to be shared from inside IIS Manager. Edit the permissions of your website, go to the Sharing tab, select share then from the drop down select 'Everyone', and click Add. If this is your problem a simple reload of your website in the browser should fix it.

Right now I have Everyone's permissions only set to 'Read'.

Thanks.

Although this will fix the problem the correct way to fix it is to give modify permissions to user 'IIS_IUSRS'. Do it the same way as above.

Thanks.
