Hi Chaps

Here's a question.

I've got (say) three modules with no containers. I want to be able to wrap a parent DIV around these three modules so I can place a single background-image which will stretch/scale up across all three modules.

I've tried sticking a DIV in the header of the top module (via module settings) and and /DIV in the footer of the bottom module - no dice.... The image just goes over the first module.

Thanks

Alex

It seems the wrong model to me. A module should - in some way - be independent of other modules. Your use case seems to be tieing them together.

ISTM that it's the skin pane that binds modules together. I'd try a copy of the skin. Add the div you want wrapping a special pane that you use for these modules.

Best wishes,

Thanks Richard

Style wise you might have a use case of tying multiple modules in, the DIV background example I think is a pretty good one. I have here a dynamic skin which changes the number of columns to different size screens.

I'm wondering if there is another way other than skin hacking or third party modules.
Right now I've found a workaround using javascript which places all the text into one html module but it would be cool to find a way to do this...

Thanks...
