Thank you soooo much.  I have been looking for ever to find that.  It was so easy I can't believe I didn't find that on my own.  Thanks again.

This is probably a record for the longest delayed response ever.  My excuse is a flooded basement which housed my computers .

Thank you for attempting to answer my questions and I apologize for the long time in providing the additional detail.

The video format is .WMV, and it is a 30MB file.  It is not a streaming server.  What happens is that the module (using nifty video skin, plays fine in IE, but in Firefox the embedded player indicates that it is locating media then it indicates ‘ready’ in the status bar.  When you click the start button, it just does the same thing again, and never plays.  for media .  There are no errors in the log file when this happens.  It certainly appears to be a problem with Firefox or version 1.5.0.4 at least.

I attempted to use the step by step at this link: http://forums.mozillazine.org/viewtopic.php?t=206213  but it did not help, as my Windows Medial plug in appears to be installed/working properly.  Is there a setting in Firefox that tends to cause this?

Thanks in advance for any assistance.

I'm not sure what assistance I can give you on this one. I just uploaded a 23MB file on my development system and had no problems with Firefox. Do you have a live site where I can maybe see the problem in action?
