Richard,

Thank you for your response.

This was an upgrade originally from DNN 6.2.3 and uses the Dark Knight skin that was available as a standard at that time.  If I cannot use that skin how do I convert some 350 pages of existing website to the Gravity Skin which does not have the features available from the Dark Knight Skin.

Hans

I think you should find out if that is the problem first.

Richard,

Thank you for your response.  I have changed the site appearance from Dark Knight to Host Gravity.  This change was requested for both Host and Site.  However, the change was implemented only on the host site, when the superuser was logged on.

The change was not apparent when either there was no user logged or whenever any other user was logged on.

It appears as if there is no way to remove the Dark Knight references from the page templates that are being used.  How can this be accomplished without destroying the entire site?

Regards
Hans

Look in page settings. A page can call for skin explicitly.

I guess that you have set up all your pages to explicitly call for DarkKnight. That's not usually a great idea as you cannot change the site appearance from a single point.

For a test just change a couple of pages to explicitly call for the Gravity skin and see how they look. If you really do need to change lots of pages in bulk it can be done via an SQL script run against the database.

Best wishes,

I have the site set up to use the default pages, set by the Administrator.  However, I did set up one page explicity.  Again, this is what I see when signed in as Suuperuser:

This what a user sees, who is NOT a Super user:

Again it is very puzzling.  I have check many pages and the same thing is true of them all.  I have changed the default HTML Editor to the Rad editor, as Telerik is not longer supported.

I guess that I will need to roll back the website to release 7.0.5, which appeared to work correctly.  It was only when I upgraded to 7.4.0 that this issue appeared.

Thanks for any assistance in this .....

Regards
Hans
