Dear professional users

I'm Upgrade my DNN from 7.3.4 to 7.4.0 and I change my User Login from "User Name" to "User Email".

Then I try to login. It was ok and worked as well. Buy I tried to click on Forget Password an retrieving password by sending Reset Password Link to my email, But Never Send and Always notify me "Please Enter Username to send Reset Password" and I Check by SQL dbo.user table It was same for most users and it was different (Username vs Email) for somebody....

I check both kind of users... for all I test and I never get any action to send Reset Link to any users that forget password.

 

This is Bug on DNN 7.4 ? how can I do? What's your Idea? how can I fix this problem?

most likely this is a bug in the resource text, if you are using non-English language.
please check the translation using the language editor in GlobalResources.resx.

You mean the Email has been sent?!
If the translate is wrong, Why the Color of Notification is not Green? It is Red.... The color is not tell wrong. Also we are sure about translate. And This is not only my DNN mistake. I check it with Other companies, They test and for them also have similar problem. for them there was no any Notification text but like me they didn't receive any email for Reset link or other things...

Forget password System not working on DNN 7.4 properly for login by Email accounts using (no login by username Accounts)

What is the resolution to this issue? This same thing is happening to me. I am using email as the username with English language and I get the same exact error.

"Please Enter Username to send Reset Password"
