Hello,

I have a DNN site configured and works well on azure cloud hosting,  I have got a backup from files on server and Database and tried to configure and run this version locally but It is not working and give me that error "Connection To The Database Failed".

I tried to connect to that database using different DNN setup and it succeed and I am very sure that connection to that DB is right, so please advice me for something I can try to solve this issue?

Best Regards,

Yousra Reda

you need to adopt both connection strings in web.config to point properly to your restored SQL database.
