Hello,

I'm using the latest DNN Platform install. All running just fine.

Installed the Auth: Active Directory provider off codeplex.

Configured as advised in documentation and not getting any joy.

Question: Is AD integration available in the DNN Platform version or is Evoq needed for AD?

I'll ask other questions if DNN Platform is OK for this. No other need for Evoq for what we do.

Thanks

The problem is the default configuration setting of ASP.NET SQLMemberShip Provider in DNN 8 installation, you should change this node of web.config in the root of your DNN installation directory under IIS server:

In this node there are two properties tha you should change like here:

1) enablePasswordRetrieval="true"

2) passwordFormat="Encrypted"

Then restart the IIS server and the website and try.
