I recently created a module and I'm new to this. I want registered users to be able to use the module but when I give them the edit module permission and they go to the page with the module in it, they also have the edit page tab. How do I get them to be able to edit things in the module without having the edit tab show on the page?

you may provide an edit link in your module, which Shows up even in Display module - eventually depending on a module permission.
it depends, how you design permissions for your module.

Thanks. I provided a link, changed a control I used for editing from edit to view and it did the trick.
