my client wants his menu to operate such as a touch screen, in that you have to click the menu to open submenus and click off menu to close the menu.
is there any way to configure it to do it this way?

Hi Lorddog,

It not that hard to accomplish...

In the page management click on the menu item  that holds the sub menus, then click the 'Disabled" option.

Regards,

Geoff

guess you didn't understand my question.
I want to eliminate the causing the menu (sub menus) to show/hide.
instead I want it to only show when you actually click it and to hide only when you click off of it.

such as using a touch screen (has no hover) but for all users reguardless.

I mean I want to eliminate the mouseover causing the menu to show/hide and just have it show/hide on the click event.
if you open a menu I don't want the menu to disappear if you mouse off of it. only when you click off of it or click a link.

Hi Lord,

Not a mis-understanding....

you'll still have to disable the parent menu item to accomplish what you are looking for.

The best way would be to use a bootstrap templated menu system.

Here is a free template for you to look at:

The christoc.com site is a good example of what you are looking to do.

Regards,

Geoff.
