We have recently upgraded from 6.2 to 7.4.  We have a Role with permission to edit a module on a page - however that Role does not have page edit rights.  Before our upgrade, this worked fine. After the upgrade, a user in that Role does not have a method to enter "Edit Mode" in order to edit the module since they do not have Page edit rights.  The ability to enter edit mode seems to only be in the admin ribbon at the top.

If we briefly grant the Role page edit rights, we can get a user into Page Edit Mode.  We can then remove the page edit rights and the user will have the ability to edit the module for some time.  However, eventually, they slip back into non-edit mode.

Is there a way to get users in this Role into edit mode?  We do not want to grant this Role page edit rights.

there is an Option in Site Settings, whether to Display control Panel for module Editors (required for switching page mode)
