I have an existing custom library extension that I now want to be able to read and write to the DNN database. It currently doesn't use any SQL install scripts so I'll be adding a new one. Does the library type support install scripts just like the module type?

you can just add it as a script component of your library - http://www.dnnsoftware.com/wiki/scrip... (or even a file component) - here's an example of a library with multiple sub components

<dotnetnuke type="Package" version="5.0">

<packages>

<package name="UrlManagement" type="Library" version="07.04.02" isSystem="true">

<friendlyName>Url Management</friendlyName>
