Just recently I am receiving the following error when I attempt to locate a user by last name.  I am running DNN 7.3.4 operating in Azure environment.  Any hints would be helpful.

DotNetNuke.Services.Exceptions.PageLoadException: Timeout expired. The timeout period elapsed prior to completion of the operation or the server is not responding. ---> System.Data.SqlClient.SqlException: Timeout expired. The timeout period elapsed prior to completion of the operation or the server is not responding. ---> System.ComponentModel.Win32Exception: The wait operation timed out

there seem to be an issue retrieving List items - which might be caused by Data Type Resolution or List/Region/Country lookup. I remember Charles fixing a performance issue for data type lookup recently, which should be included in DNN 7.4.1 or 7.4.2 (you may check Jira for details).

Sebastian

Does your release of SQL Scripts 0.9.9 include fixes that can be applied to the Azure SQL Server?  Can I apply the latest scripts to my SQL database hosted in Azure?

Thanks for all of your work on these scripts.

Regards
Hans

Hans,
I am sorry, I started with Azure compatibility, but haven't been able to complete.
The issue with Azure SQL: it doesn't allow tables without a clustered key. A number of my performance improvements are setting a non-primary clustered index, but this is not as easy on Azure SQL. And I'd like to find a generic solution, working for any table.

Sebastian Leupold

Hans,
AFAIK Turbo Scripts should now run fine on Azure SQL V12.
Do you have an option to test it?

Cheers from Germany,
Sebastian Leupold
