Hi David Rodriguez,

I'm running under the same situation.
I've also tried to install DNN 8 by publishing the clean folder and running the install process. After the successful install (the install logs look clean), I logged in as Host and no Host menu was visible.

1) I never hit the retry button, but the page didn't had the clock counting for about an hour with no buttons enabled. So I tried to hit the root page and it was ok.

2) I've installed the en-US version

3) DB is in North Europe and Web App in South Central US

5) I´ve checked the Install Logs and got only INFO , nothing more

Can this be because my Web App is the in an F1 (Shared Infrastructure)?

thanks in advance

I think i found the answer.

While I was testing with a Azure Web App pricing tier Free, witch has shared resources, I was unable to see the HOST menu.

I did a second install on a clean Azure Web App with a pricing tier that doesn't have shared resources and ia can now see the HOST menu.

Hope this helps!
