Hello,

I recently inherited the responsibility of updating a DNN based site. I've never used DNN before and am a big newbie on this so I apologize if this is a simple fix.

How can I add CAPTCHA or some kind of bot-calming feature to an image upload form on the front page? I know that there's an option to add CAPTCHA for registration but I'm not sure that it would apply to this section of the page. Can I even do this if I only have Admin access and not Host access? Our "Host" is a third party company that my organization hired but they have not been responsive as of late. I'm not even sure which version of DNN our site is running on.

I appreciate any help I can get on this.

Thank you!

-C

Hi Cecily

You can implement the DNN captcha to your form by modifying the code. Check this link below.

Cecily,
What module are you using to let users upload?

Hi Sumil: How would I access the form's code? Again, I'm new to DNN so that article is using language that I'm not quite familiar with.

Hi Mike: I'm not sure. It might be a custom module. How would I find that out? The website I'm working on is www.goburgh.org. The form is the one visitors can use to upload their pictures to the main photo montage.

I appreciate any help! Thank you.

Hi Cecily
If it is a module developed for the image uploading form, then you can find it inside the projects DesktopModules folder. You need knowledge of coding for making the modification on the image upload form.
