I don't believe so, I have added a screenshot below of the original settings, back when it was on version 4.

I guess these have been carried through?

I could provide screenshots of the SQL tables, if you advise me which ones you want to see.

I think FriendlyURL, as this is present in the web.config file;

 <friendlyUrl defaultProvider="DNNFriendlyUrl">

      <providers>

        <clear />

        <add name="DNNFriendlyUrl" type="DotNetNuke.Services.Url.FriendlyUrl.DNNFriendlyUrlProvider, DotNetNuke.HttpModules" includePageName="true" regexMatch="[^a-zA-Z0-9 _-]" />

      </providers>

    </friendlyUrl>

Because this site is being inherited, I can't way anything for certain :)

Let me know if there's another way to 100% confirm the answer.

there must be another reference in your web.config, where the URL format is set to either "avanced" or "humanfriendly" (sorry, I don't have access atm to lookup the proper configuration). If it is still humanfriendly, you may consider to switch to new default "advanced" with many new features, including extensionless page urls.

Cheers from Germany,
Sebastian Leupold
