Hello!

Thank you for your kind reponse. Just one more question - would this affect current portal with PortalID = 0. It is not set as "parent" anymore, but there are some functionalities that are currently in use (some modules in CMS section).

We will of course back up the datababase.

Thank you

The script will re-add the Website with portalID = 0, it will not perform any modifications, if this Website exists.
If you just need to re-add a Website Alias, you may use edit Settings Option in Host > Websites.

Interesting..portal with PortalID = 0 exists. Site alias is set correctly. Any ideas what else could be the problem? URL Rewriter is crashing just on parent portal (which has PortalID 133 - different from 0).

After doing a lot of research related to this issue we still haven't figured out where the problem is. Maybe someone have some other advices where to look? Once again a short description of the problem. We're using DotNetNuke 7.4.0 version (upgrade from 7.2.2). Home (root) portal is different from PortalID=0. URL rewriter works on all other portals, except the home/entry/root one. The problem results in user not friendly :) URLs, which is causing some problems for SEO too.

Should we try to upgrade to 7.4.1.. As i figured out this is not "known" issue, or it is? If it helps - language set is different from en-EN.

Thank you!

It has been quite a lot time, since we came across this problem. We've been able to finally found an acceptable solution. If i once again make a summary of our project status. There was an upgrade from 7.2.2 -> 7.4.0 and at the same time home portal was changed - it does not have PortalID = 0 anymore. The consequence was, that URL Rewriter stopped working on home portal. We've done some research and installed DNN Url Management module which allows us to change some AUM (Advanced URL Management) settings. We've set AUM_RedirectUnfiriendly to false in PortalSettings table. Now everything is working as expected. We've found some usefully information here: http://stackoverflow.com/questions/31...
