Recently upgraded to DNN 8.1.0, and have discovered the editor replaces the token [Portal:FooterText] in the code with the text it is supposed to display when not in editor mode. This defeats the purpose, as now the token is gone and only the text remains in the code and will no longer dynamically update. How can I get the token to remain in the code view?

Thanks,
Dave

Dave,
there is no DNN 8.1.0, current version is 7.4.1, which is also the platform for Evoq 8.1.0
For issues with Evoq products, please contact Support at DNN Corp.

Wow that was completely unhelpful. This is a community support forum... Is it not?

Also, I was specially told by DNN support that there was no DNN 7.4.1 ... And now only Evoq 8.1.0... However, since I'm not an idiot, I did realize the base was actually 7.4.1... Especially since all the modules in 8.1.0 say 7.4.1

Thanks for absolutely nothing though, I appreciate it.

As I wrote before, Evoq 8.1.0 is based on DNN Platform 7.4.1.
For several years now, DNN Professional and its successors, Evoq products use a custom private customized module HTML Pro, which is not open source (like any other Pro/Evoq extension) and therefore we (the community) have very limited option to support these (like any other 3rd party) extensions. The best address for support is the creator/developer/supplier of the extension, in this case it is DNN Corp.
I hope, I was able to explain the community options a bit better this time and please excuse, it I did not before (please understand, that I am not an English native speaker).
Thank you.

Cheers from Germany,
Sebastian Leupold
