you might need to check all module definitions, that have "searchable" set to true - one of it might be misconfigured regarding BusinessControllerClass listed or have a bug in the method called to retrieve the content.

It appears that YAF installation was creating the problem. Uninstalling that module allowed DNN search to function again and we are no longer getting the errors.

Seems after more than 10 years of using DNN for major projects, I will need to start looking at other platforms primarily to get a good forum system (ala vB).... it is a shame.

Regardless....thanks everyone for your patience and suggestions in helping me narrow down the problem...especially you Sebastian!

Roy,
I am glad, you were able to trace the issue down.
You should post on codeplex in the dnnyafnet forum, Ingo is usually very responsive.

Ingo has gone WAY out of his way to assist me in resolving the YAF related issues and I am happy to report that most issues are resolved.  My users love the YAF platform now and everything is off and running.  I only wish I had the skills necessary to help Ingo with this amazing project as I think it is the only viable forum for DNN that I have found.

Thanks to all for their assistance here.

Roy
