Thank you very much for the information Sabestian, I finally managed to get the PE to CE version change done. One question, i've noticed that you still see the professional feature pages(even though the modules are not accessible) under Host> Advance Settings even after you create a new portal. Is there something i need to do to stop this happening for every new portal creation??

Example PE Pages: Activate your license, Advanced URL Management, Application Integrity, Manage Web Servers, Security Center, Site Groups, User Switcher... etc

Regards,
Vishal

Vishal,
earlier versions of DNN contained "Professional Preview" module. please check whether it is still installed, you may uninstall manually.
When uninstalling, the modules are removed but their pages may not be deleted from admin/host menu and remain blank. You may safely delete it.

when upgrading to a more recent version of DNN, Professional Preview should be deleted automatically, you may hide the pages from the menu now, if necessary (but preview is included with any DNN Platform, i.e. there is no license violation).
You might uninstall GA pro, GA should be either installed during upgrade or you just follow instructions from the Google Webmaster site. Another option is GA advanced from www.oliverhine.com, which includes a couple of (at least for our clients necessary) additional features.
