Hi, my problem is that the database grows too much and often goes extra quotas.

The hosting disable the portal automatically when the database goes beyond the threshold.

I need to know if is possible to disable in the database the :

- SiteLog
- ScheduleHistory
- EventLog

so do not grow further .

Thanks in advance for your help.

you may disable sitelog in Host Settings and site settings
you may limit numbers of entries per Schedule items in Scheduler
for event log, please read http://www.dnnsoftware.com/community-...

Dear Sebastian, there is something that can automate truncate event log? A script, a query, a software or something like CRON, anything that solves the problem of this database that is growing dramatically, for no reason.
Is the third time that the hosting provider blocks sever because the database exceeded. It is not possible. If this continues I will stop using DNN.

Help.

Thanks

Marcello

Marcello,
for eventlog, there is a scheduler job.
However, in DNN 7.3.2 and later, Exception table does not get cleared by default.
I included a cleanup in my TurboDNN script.
