Hi to all,

 

 

I have the following html setup in a .ascx of my module:

The above code results to the following screen in my browser:

 

 

I want to style (theme) the datepicker controls (Date From, Date To) using a JqueryUI Theme e.g."Smoothness", but I do not know how.

 

At this moment the datepicker controls pop-up like:

 

 

JqueryUI examples provide the following code as an example:

 

 

After reading this code, I tried to place the necessary tags from <head> in Page Management->More Settings->Advanced Settings->Header tags, but unfortunately I had no results.

 

If I place all the <head>  section in .ascx html code, somehow I manage to achieve the desired result, but this is not right of course. I am trying to figure out the right way to properly include the Jquery UI theme in my .ascx file and apply it to it's controls.

jQuery and jQueryUI are included automatically by DNN, if requested by a module.
DNN uses wrappers for common controls, which currently are mainly Telerik controls, which are going to be replaced by jQuery Controls within the next DNN versions.

Thank you for your answer, howevere it doesn't answer my question. I am searching for the proper way to inject and apply the desired theme to my datepicker control.

I have the same question. I've replaced the DNNDatePicker with the jQueryUI datepicker but there's no skin applied to it. I certainly could just link to a CSS theme on a CDN but it seems there should be an official DNN solution for this.
