I need to float the various record fields so I can put home phone, work phone and cell phone on one line. The Lists & Forms Module data table setup field edit option includes a CSS Style blank. The information for this field reads, " Style which is applied on text box or list control in form, for example to change width set "width:300px;min-width:300px;"

However, when I put style into this blank, there is not effect on the form. Any ideas?

You should only have width:10em;float:left; in the field. Not stye= or the quotes.
For full control over your form layout, you may need to use a 3rd party form module (Onyak Forms, for example).

Thank you so much for your quick response! I've tried every format I can think of and nothing impacts the form. Even when I pull up the preview, right click, view source and Cntrl F to search, there's nothing like what I've entered in this blank anywhere on the page. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I corrected the CSS, but its still not working. The most important objective I'm trying to achieve is to get two or more fields on one line. It appears the CSS doesn't not effect the label, but only the blank after the label. Is this accurate? Thank you for your help!

Yes, Charlotte. Unfortunately, just the field can be styled, not the label.
