I cleaned the defaults aspx and removed some files.
Did you had contact with the company of Easy DNN Gallery?

Yes, that's the same hack-- at the bottom of default.aspx there will be a long listing of links to other sites who pay the hacker money for increased search engine rankings.   I did not contact the company who makes Easy DNN Gallery, I just stopped using the module.  Uninstalled it and deleted all files having anything to do with it.  There's lots of gallery modules out there, it's easier to just find another one than to risk another hack while Easy DNN figures out how to write secure modules.

Be sure to replace favicon.ico with the original, that file is a Trojan now.

???
I'm using Easy DNN Rotator and Easy DNN News and my portals have been under attack for the last month or so and I keep restoring backups and loosing time and data.
Could these modules also be vulnerable and be the cause? what version of Easy DNN Gallery are you using?

Please let me know.
Edo

Hi Edo,

I use all the easydnnmodules and have no problems with it.
I do not know the cause why my website was hacked.
I have changed all the passwords etc.

For I know so far, there is no module or application safe for hackers.
They always find their way :-(

Regards, Ton
