In Host under HTML Editor option or on a page will editing press the Custom Editor Option at the bottom. Go through and setup file browsing to allow a security role to access along with setting the default folders and varies settings. Press the same option. Don't get much feedback while on the page, but using the Host HTML editor, get a message across the top the settings have been saved to reload the page or editor. Leave the page and go right back into host HTML settings, on the left go to the page that I'm trying to save the editor configuration. None of the settings are saved. I cannot get it to save any settings, Either Portal, Page or Module. Nothing. Anyone else having this issue? This is using the optional CKeditor 1.0.1 Extension that ships with DNN 7.4.2. Had to change back to the old default RadEditor Telerik in order to restore individual editor settings.

I had no problems saving settings, but I am using latest version from http://dnnckeditor.codeplex.com.

Will try the later version, but shouldn't this be opened with DNN in order to resolve. Their releasing a bundled extension that is not working. Are the versions even the same? I know their working on making CKeditor the default, but I thought I also saw that their version is forked from the original source. I could be wrong on that.

there were some folks taking Ingo's editor provider, modify it and publish on GitHub.
DNN Corp took it and bundled it with DNN Platform.
ATM I prefer the original, we are using for a couple of years now on nearly all sites - and I have not got any information about a migration path.

Cheers from Germany,
